Analysing Locations: House 1

  • 0
Visiting the house location for testing and framing, what came to mind was how wide the house was, it was very symmetrical, and the floor plan was great for moving around setting up shots.

Pros:
The house allows easy access to our actors who are more likely to come from London, the house has lots of room, lots of place to place lights and bounce boards. there is a lot of room for people to move around without feeling to crowded.

Cons:
We, as a crew, would have to travel to London, costing us more than shooting on location in Farnham.  we don't have enough time to do any lighting tests. the owners of the house would not like anything stuck to the floor (means we cannot tape down light cables causing potential hazards) transport of equipment will take very long. working hours are reduced.

Although the consequences are more, it's still very plausible if planned right.
this was clear to us when we actually went to see the location for ourselves.
